Hearing only English also helped the child to have better pronunciation. This helped eliminate the Spanish accent.

This practice has not yielded very good results. Today diversity is more recognized. Businesses today reach many faraway lands and they need people to communicate with their clients. In reality we have robbed our children of the ability to be worth more in the work place by being bilingual. Let us all wake up and teach the children Spanish now. It is not too late for adults to learn it too. Make it a family event and take Spanish lessons together. It will be great to have the whole family for a support group.
