what are some good themes for a baby boy shower?
i’m having a little boy. his daddy & i are real big into football, but i dont know if thatd be an appropriate theme for a shower. any ideas?
You bet! A baby shower should be about celebrating your family and the new addition on the way. If you love football, (and especially since you are having a boy) then go for it. Your guests will love attending a fresh and different shower, and this would even be a great way to get the guys engaged if it’s a couples shower.
Check out this link for a football themed diaper cake – this is an eBay store, and I have seen several different football themed cakes made by this girl. You can get one customized for any team, or just a general “football” themed cake. Too cute, and just perfect for you!

I think you could have a great time with this theme. Your invitations could say “Come and celebrate the new draft pick for the (Your Last Name) Team!” You could do a Super Bowl type spread of food, and even ask people to wear their favorite football jersey. Paint the two black stripes under their eyes when they get there, and choose shower games that you can use a football for (like “passing” the ball during introductions.)
Remember, it’s your shower, so make it your own, and have a great time. Sounds like it will be one of those showers people tell their friends about!
