Baby Shower Activities For Kids

There are dozens of themes to choose from, and you need not be limited to typical shower themes (eg. ABC, NoahÂ’s Ark, Nursery Rhyme, etc). Depending on mom-to-beÂ’s preferences (plus other factors like, is she having a boy or a girl), your theme could be anything, as long as you could link it to babies, babies and babies.
For example, you could go with an Oriental or Asian shower theme, wherein your invitation will be a rubber ducky with a Chinese take out box around its neck. The Chinese take out box could be your invitation (your invitation folded in take-out box fashion) or could be a take-out box, which will contain your invitation letter. But the link to babies shouldnÂ’t just be in your invitation. Your shower games could include typical Baby Shower activities like baby name games. But this name game comes with a different twist, since you will be writing Chinese or Japanese baby names. You could also opt for more lively activities like bargain hunting or the price is right, since Chinese people are supposed to be shrewd when it comes to money matters. Need we say that all the stuff to be used on these games are still related to babies?
Or if you are somehow inclined to choose a typical Baby Shower theme, then you could use some customizing abilities so as to make everything about a supposedly conventional baby shower, become a not so typical one. You will definitely wow your guests by showing them that if done differently, typical Baby Shower Themes could also be lots of fun!
The ideas are endless! You just need to let your creative juices run a bit. But to give your creativity a little help, here are some theme ideas that you might want to look at:

6 months pregnant?
well, first of all, monday i will be 6 months pregnant. and i was wondering if there is any activities that i should avoid? also… as strange as this sounds, i just found out that i was preg. 3 days ago. I had endometriosis, and the drs thought i would never be able to have a kid. well, i never had any symptoms of being pregnant, or not having a period was perfectly normal for me, so another question is, when should i start getting my house ready for the baby and when should i let my family have the baby shower for me? also… how often do you usually feel your baby move? i only really feel her moving a couple times a day… when will i really feel her kicking and stuff?
Congrats! Avoid heavy lifting and exhausting physical activity, and do whatever your doctor says
As long as the baby is moving around a little each day, it’s ok. The baby prefers to move while you’re sleeping, or you might notice it more in the morning, laying in bed. Daily activities and moving around create soothing movement that keep baby asleep, so they prefer to kick when you’re sitting or resting. A month before your due date is a great time for the baby shower. Let someone else do all that though, and don’t stress!
