mother in law wants to split Baby Shower present with a friend of mine?
Ok so basically my mil is just like 90% of most!! up in every1s life!! I have a Babyshower to go to next sunday..I live 2 and a half hours away. she called me and said “i rsvp’ed for you, and btw we have a dance recital to go to on saturday” ?? UMMM.. I wa supposed to go there on sunday and only sunday! then she says “you can come fiday night” I said no my husband, her son works late on fri, “oh then you can come late fri nite” WHATEVER!! In cuss my husband out!! onl to find he is cussin gher out too!! Now she wants to go half in on a gift! NO! as i remember for my Baby Shower that my sis in law wanted to plan!!! she took full control of! I had no party favors no games a horrible sitting around of ppl i never met!! watching the phillies game! how do i tell her i dont want to go in on half of her stupid gift??
Ouch, Sitting around watching a game… with strangers at your own Baby Shower. Haha, Sad.
Just tell the old hag, You and your husband have already bought a gift and it would look like you guys were being cheap if all 3 went with one present.
