Baby Shower Wishing Well

Who doesn’t love Mother Goose? Well, most of us have either grown up listing to all those stories or reading them to our own children. When you are planning a Baby Shower, the theme usually makes the party more memorable and interesting. So consider adding a Mother Goose twist to your Baby Shower invitation, Baby Shower Favors, baby gifts and decoration. Even the centerpieces can be modified to add to your Mother Goose theme.
Below are some ideas on how to create your own Mother Goose Baby Shower Decorations:
1. If weather permits, host the party outdoors in Mary Mary, Quite Contrary Garden. Add imaginative touches, like taper candles set in candlesticks for Jack Be Nimble, Jack Be Quick. You can also make stars cut from card stock and covered with aluminum foil for Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. And Baby doll set in a lightweight toy cradle hanging from a tree branch for Rack-a-Bye Baby.
2. Make a Jack and Jill wishing well by wrapping a small clothes hamper with brown or red paper. Draw a brick pattern all over the paper. Set the well on a large box or two and cover the boxes with green fabric to make the hill.
3. You can also make unique place settings by attaching plates and spoons together with decorative ribbon and tape. Attach to each place setting a tag card that reads: “And the dish ran away with the spoon!”. For coordinating centerpieces, write the same phrase with a dry-erase marker on a large colorful ceramic plate and place the plate on an easel!

Baby Shower Wishing Well?
One of my best friends is having a baby and her mom and sister are throwing her the baby shower. I have her gift and everything from her registry but the invitation said that there would be a wishing well….what goes into a wishing well? do i have to wrap those gifts? lol thanks!!
A wishing well is usually just for cards containing cash, checks, or gift-cards.
It may also be used for a personal note that you might wish to send to your friend.
There is usually a gift-table for wrapped gifts, and there’s no need to contribute anything to the wishing well if you’ve already bought a gift from the registry.
