Baby Shower Venues Nj

Planning a shower for a single baby can seem full of a million things to take care of; add another baby to the list, and you can add another million things that you have to take care of before the shower to make sure the party is a grand success. From baby gift baskets to Baby Shower favors, from the venue to the timings, everything has to be planned well in advance to reflect the theme of the shower.
The very first difference in having a shower for a single baby and a twin shower is the timing of the event. Most Baby Showers are held in the last two months of pregnancy. This is when the mother to be really starts putting the nursery together, and getting everything just right for baby’s arrival, so it makes sense to present her baby gifts at the exact time she’s going to need things for the nursery. Also, by the last trimester, the mother will have a clear idea of all the things that she still needs for the baby, and would have bought quite a few things herself.
In the case of a twin shower, however, the last trimester may not be all that convenient for the mother at all. Most women carrying twins deliver their babies ahead of schedule. So what could be an estimated due date for a single baby could be brought forward at least a couple of weeks for a woman with twins.
Plus, the special strains and stresses involved in a twin pregnancy may mean that the mother has decreased mobility during the last trimester. Traveling to and from a Baby Shower venue far away from home, is simply not an option.
Have the baby shower while the mother is still able to enjoy the proceedings with out intense discomfort. It’s probably best to have the shower in her own home. It’s also advisable to avoid a surprise baby shower. Pregnant woman can be delicate and emotionally sensitive, and a woman carrying twins even more so! The lesser surprises for her, the better!
Make sure you take her comforts into consideration in the timings of the shower, and the duration of the party. Since she’s in an extra fragile state, everything must be decided based on her convenience. Ensure she has a comfortable place to sit and open her baby gifts.
Above all, end the party early. With two delicate lives inside her, she’ll need more than enough rest and sleep to get ready for D Day.
