Baby Shower Rules

What is the rule on having Baby Showers? If you are having a second baby 2 1/2 years after the first?

Do you still have a Baby Shower?

Etiquette aside….if there is someone who wants to host a Baby Shower for the second baby, I just don’t think there is anything wrong with it!!! In my opinion….EVERY baby is worthy of their own unique celebration!!

So, go all out and celebrate a 2nd child!! Just make sure that someone ELSE is throwing the shindig and not the parents (that is one rule of thumb I think should always be followed for Baby Showers!! If the parents want to host an event it should be a “Meet the baby” luncheon a few weeks after baby has arrived!!).
