Baby Shower Registry Target

How does this Baby Shower registry work?

Im planning to register at Target but how does it work exactly? What do you have to do? Is it free? Plz help! I want to do it today.
Do you have to be 18?

I’m Canadian, so we don’t have Targets, but I think they’re all pretty much the same.
You go to the registry kiosk and put in your info. You’ll then get a scanner from a store employee, then just go around and scan the things that you would like.
