I need help with a scrapbook page for a mom to be – PLEASE?
I am going to a Baby Shower and everyone was asked to make a scrapbook page for the mom to be. I don’t scrapbook, so I have no idea where to start, and I am not that good friends with the mom to be. We see each other socially, usually at parties with our husbands, but I don’t really do anything just with her. I was hoping for maybe a quote or poem to put in the scrapbook since I really don’t have anything personal to write.
As a scrapbooker, I’ve heard of a lot of quotes, some are:

There’s a place called quotegarden.com and you can find tons of quotes there to fit what you’re looking for.
What you can do is get some cardstock and start with that as your blank page. Then get another sheet in a color that contrasts you decide what colors you want to work with. The second color you can make the size a little bigger than a 4×6 photo, this way when she gets the pictures back, she can just put it on the layout (that’s what the pages are called). If you leave a few, like 2-3 blank spaces for her that are a little bigger than the 4×6 size she can put the pictures right on the page and the paper will make a nice border around them.
You can also go to Michael’s or AC Moore, or JoAnn’s and check out the sticker section. There’s a brand called Jolee’s Boutique and they have stickers of pregnant women, babies and baby things like the strollers, and they’re all done in 3D. They’re amazing, they’re made with real fabric and wire and it’s just awesome. Chec out the stickers while you’re there and see how cool they are. You’ll be amazed to see how they’re making them and how far stickers have come!
You can just put some of the blank areas on the page, then take a strip of paper and go along the bottom of the page and put some stickers in the strip as a border. They even have titles in stickers, you can get a title sticker and put it in that strip too or run a top border and put the title there. What you can even do is put the title on top in a strip of paper, then on the right hand side of the page, put 3 squares and put the stickers in the squares, and you can even layer the squares like you’re framing them. Then to the left of the squares will be the blank areas that you cut out a little bigger than 4×6 for her to put her pictures on. You can do them in a row or one on top of each other, however you’re comfortable. There is NO right or wrong way to scrapbook!
You can then decide if you want to put something across the bottom of the page and if so, put some more stickers as a border.
I hope I didn’t confuse you more and make you more nervous! I’ll list some websites that have galleries that you can go and look at some layouts. I would go to that quote site though to check out some quotes though, but you can also find quote stickers at the craft store!
