Baby Shower Punch

Pretty little girls everywhere love pink, and an easy, non-specific birthday party with all the potential in the world is a pink party! Pink partyware such as plates, cups, napkins and flatware can be embellished to create Barbie parties, Fairy Princess Parties, Peppermint Patty Parties, or parties that play on creativity and variety such as a “Pretty in Pink Party”. All you need is an imagination and an eye for anything in the pink!

Begin with easy to make invitations inÂ…you guessed itÂ…PINK! One option would be to blow up a pink balloon and use metallic glitter pens to write all the party invitation information on them, let the air out, add some confetti to the envelope, and mail or hand deliver to guests. You can even ask all the guests to think pink and dress in the same hue!

Another invitation option would be computer generated invitations of a rosy hue, or purchased invitations or party packages that contain everything in one easy to use kit.

Individual strawberry shortcakes, cherry chip cakes, or pink cakes fit for fairy princesses lit with candles a plenty are sure to light a spark in your birthday girl’s eyes.

Pretty In Pink Punch:

2 Quarts Tropical Punch, Strawberry Kiwi, or Strawberry Melon soft drink mix, according to package directions.

1 can pineapple juice

2 liter bottle of ginger ale or lemon lime soda

1 half gallon container of vanilla ice cream

Combine all ingredients in punch bowl, and float ice cream on top. To be served in disposable party cups.

Strawberry cream cheese sandwiches trimmed of crusts and cut into finger sized shapes are in keeping with the pink theme.

Try a Fruit medley of seeded watermelon, strawberries, and maraschino cherries, served in plastic champagne glasses.

Consider pink lemonade as a beverage.

Lime Sherbet and 7-up , sprite or ginger ale.

Spoon sherbet (large pieces) in punch bowl and pour in whichever you choose 7-up, sprite, or ginger ale.

It makes a great tasting green punch.
