Combine all the ingredients you wish from the list above in a large bowl or the hollowed out watermelon rind. Fruit salad is a fresh and healthy treat for any occasion, including your baby shower.

Party Punch

Ingredients:

2 liter bottle of clear soda – lemon-lime or ginger ale

1 ½ gallon sherbet – pink variety for a girl, blue variety for a boy

In a large punch bowl, pour the clear soda over the sherbet. Ladle into cups and enjoy. Make as needed.

*A variation on this is to make a float with vanilla ice cream and either a red or blue soda.

Baby Bagel Sandwiches

Ingredients:

Mini bagels – plain and garlic varieties

Lunch meat – ham, turkey, and salami

Spreads – tuna salad and chicken salad

Cheese – American, Swiss, provolone and mozzarella

Vegetables – tomato, lettuce, and cucumber

Place all of the bagels on one large serving tray. Place all the lunch meats and cheeses on a second serving tray. Place the spreads in bowls with spoons. Place all the vegetables on a third serving tray. Have mayonnaise and mustard available, if needed. Allow your guests to create their own “baby bagel sandwiches” to enjoy.

All of these Baby Shower Recipes can be used all year round. Use one to add to your menu, or all three and your whole shower is covered.
