Lesser known nursery/preschool songs for a baby shower?
I tried this aking this yesterday in the baby/newborn section -and got 2 whole responses. Neither were very helpful.
I’m putting together a baby shower for my sister-in-law, and found a great game to play with nursery rhymes….I’m doing a twist to it and DONT want rhymes. (everybody knows the basic nursery rhymes) I want songs…silly songs that aren’t really heard that often anymore… and I need 10 of them.
So far all I’ve come up with is :
How much is that doggie in the window
Do your ears hang low
Alice the camel
Any other suggestions would be great!
(I’ve already nixed the common ones like Monkeys jumping on the bed, B I N G O, Row row row your boat, Twinkle twinkle little star, etc.)
That’s exactly what I’m looking for Saralee….Thanks!!!
How about Down by the bay…Where the watermelons grow…I dare not go…? Do you know that one? or She’ll be coming around the mountain when she comes… Our all time favorite is Baby Beluga, in the deep blue sea, you swim so wild and you swim so free….We like Raffi in our house!! Haha
