How do you do games at a Baby Shower?

For example…How would I interrupt the party to do games?
Should there be music playing in the background?
Should I have a MIC and let them know?
Should we play games through the whole thing? ;/
All Advice is accepted. How did you do yours?

have time to eat, then do a couple games like 3 or 4, then open gifts.
when eating and opening gifts you could have light music on, but not needed.
just get everyones attention to start a game, or when they are done eating start the first game, and when done with first move to second.
you could play the game where each person has a pacifier (life saver with jelly bean glued to it) then ribbon for going around neck. each person upon entering gets one pacifier, but if they say “baby” whoever hears them say it takes away the pacifier…whoever ends up with the most wins. (this is a game that could be played throughout)
