Elmo is one of the most recognizable Muppets currently living on Sesame Street with his parents, and a sister named Daisy. Elmo has bright red fur, has big googly eyes and bright round orange nose. Elmo has a special segment on Sesame Street called Elmo’s World, which is aimed at toddler children. Elmo, himself, is said to be between three and four years old. Elmo is a nice boy. Elmo has a goldfish named Dorothy who appears on Elmo’s World with Elmo. Elmo likes to help. Elmo likes to play. Elmo, always starts his sentences with ”Elmo this” and “Elmo that.”
Elmo has had several toys designed after him. The Tickle-Me-Elmo doll that was released for Christmas of 1996 was the toy that everyone wanted but few could actually have. There is also a Hokey Pokey Elmo, Limbo Elmo and LetÂ’s Pretend Elmo. Elmo was the star of a full-length motion picture called The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland that was shown in theaters during the Holiday season of 1999. In addition to all of ElmoÂ’s own toy, book, and video projects, Elmo time to make a lot of special appearances on other shows. For example, Elmo has appeared as a regular guest on The Rosie OÂ’Donnell Show and has also appeared on Martha Stewart Living, Emeril Lagasse, and even The West Wing. some shower ideas..what do you think?
My friend is throwing my Baby Shower and shes like little martha stewart i love her…but i want to make sure shes not going overboard
her first idea is in the invitation…ask everyone to bring a child book and to sign a message inside…this way we can get a little library started for my son
the second idea she had was to do a raffle…a dollar a ticket and this will start a savings bond for him as well……
do you think people are going to be forced to spend money? i want people to enjoy in my shower….how can i let people kno they dont have to do these things to come to my shower?
thanks in advance
I would just put in the invitation that guests may bring a baby book
I would not say anything about a raffle….If I got an invitation that said that I wouldn’t go.
I could see maybe a money tree being set up and if people want to donate when they get there that’s one thing but asking for money on top of a gift is alittle crazy to me. Plus it would mean that the guests may be more likely to buy a very small gift if they think they have to give money.
I’ve never been to a baby shower where any of these things were asked of the guests. It’s a little tacky.
