Baby Shower Gifts Diaper Cake

Sometimes, preparing for a party as a host can be quite challenging and tiresome. On the other hand, if you are an invited guest to a given party, you may find it quite hard to decide on what to bring along as your gift for the coming baby or the mother and father-to-be. Well, sit back, relax and enjoy reading this article because I am going to tell you that with the right tips and suggestions, you can be able to come up with creative ideas on how to keep the party booming as the host, or how to come up with some unique, inexpensive gift items as the guest.
Ever heard of diaper cakes? Well, these do not qualify as food items, but all together, they are referred to as such because if you do them properly, they end up taking the shape of a cake. They are easy to make, and the shapes make them acquire a decorative aspect, meaning that as you store them, you can place them in a way that they will beautify your baby’s sleeping room.
What you need for this fun activity is several rolls of diapers, ribbons, rubber bands, a bottle of baby lotion and other items that make up a collection of items that a baby is likely to need. For a simple diaper cake, roll up the single pieces of the baby sanitary towels separately and tie them with the rubber band.
Then arrange them around the bottle of lotion. Tie them with ribbons and make other layers, as many as you want. In between the layers, you could stack the other baby items that you brought along. You can come up with many shapes and designs, all depending on your creativity.

Help with a Baby Shower Gift?
I want to do something creative for my good friends baby shower. I know someone else is making the “diaper cake” so I need to stay away from that. A few years ago I went to a baby shower and made a gift. I took a plastic storage container and decorated the outside with the babies name and other stickers and filled it with misc things, i.e. shampoo, a bottle, and a few other things and filled it with colored paper that i put through the paper shredder. I need some ideas on what to decorate the outside of the tub with.( I use the tub so that the expecting parents can later use it for storage. )
(Maybe you have seen this idea but it’s great) For my shower my Aunt got me a laundry basket and it was covered with a blanket and a card I read the card and it said to pull up the blanket and pull the string which the string was a clothes line and it was long and it had things from bibs so sleepers to towels to hats to socks it was the best gift!!! And everyone at the shower got a great kick out of it too.
Sorry I never really answered your question what about wall decals they sell for baby rooms.
