Baby Shower Agendas

Coming up with best corporate party ideas will propel your small party planning business to instant stardom!
Bold claim, isn’t it? Read on for my explanation.
Planning a corporate party is always a challenge. Can you imagine trying to please a big group of people and making sure that the party experience is good enough for each and every one of these attendees? It’s daunting, to say the least. But don’t get scared yet, because it can be done!
One element that sets corporate parties apart from all the other types of parties is the fact that the budget is big. Very few businessmen, the effective types, will scrimp on corporate parties. They realize that this is one of the best ways to pamper their employees. In fact, so many individuals who give their best efforts in the workplace look forward to the annual party because it’s a chance to connect with other employees without putting on their poker faces and hard hats. These are the employees you want to please. Your corporate party ideas have to zero in on the needs and wants of the company’s best employees.
Because the budget is almost limitless, and because you are not the only party planner in town, you can be sure that a bidding war will ensue. Corporations will make their plans public, and your job is to get their attention. So the next question is… what exactly will get the attention of these jaded businessmen? Will it be the testimonials from previous clients? Will it be the number of awards you managed to acquire for various cooking and party planning contests? It’s none of these things.
It’s your ability to present the best corporate party ideas that will get you the job.
The first thing that an event coordinator must do is to find out what has been done in the past, i.e. in terms of themes and giveaways. Before putting in your bid, you must research the company’s party history; including the small details like how many employees attended the party and the general feedback. Did the family picnic alienate the non-married employees? Did the emo-rock concert turn off the baby boomers? How many employees actually attended the rainbow-themed charity raffle? Put your intuition to work and consider the actual numbers to determine which party themes the employees found interesting.
Base your corporate party ideas on the employee’s age groups. The most effective way of doing this is considering the music that will be playing during the party. For instance, you noticed that most of the employees (and the bosses) are forty-ish. Your party agenda must include the music type that existed during the 1980s: new wave, punk rock and disco. You can take it a step further by adopting an “eighties party” theme.
The best corporate party ideas are those that encourage participation. Why not come up with a show that will involve a Punk Rock Costume competition (with a catwalk or a runway), or a Disco Fever Contest? When you stimulate the employee’s creativity and competitive spirit, you can be sure that the party will be a blast!

Co-Ed Baby Shower- Guys and Girls Please Help!?
The mom-to-be invited many couples and we dont know what to do! We want to make it fun for the guys too, but we dont know how??
All showers have some games, but what games should we do? (nothing too shower like– guys dont like that)
What should the ‘agenda’ be? What do we do while their here?
*By the way, shes having a girl and her theme is the old winnie the pooh
Thanks for any help
I have heard of couple showers where the men are in charge of putting things together. However this means the stuff needs to be able to fit in the mom to be’s car after the shower.
A couple shower game I recently played was a version of the measure mom’s belly it was measure mom & Dad’s bellies together (a little less embarrassing for mom!)
As for an agenda it depends on time of day, if you are having food maybe have the guys grill something you know when a grill is going the men are always gathered around!
Another fun game could be guess the baby item, men can probably come up with some great thoughts for odd baby items. (My husband still doesn’t know what some of the stuff we have is for!)
Other shower/non-showery games are the mixed up words, the baby animal name game. Those are good cause they get the men thinking and showing brain power!
